Here at BCE, we’re delighted for all of our students receiving their results today. We couldn’t be more proud of the hard work and dedication our students have shown during their course and today they see the benefits!
The headlines are:
100% of Year 2 students passed their vocational course
25% of students achieved a distinction (equivalent to 3 x A* at A Level)
77% students going to first choice destinations
Opening that envelope is a life moment for everyone, and one you’ll never forget. Here’s what the students said:
“I’m really proud of what I’ve done, and what BCA has helped me do”
“Thank you BCA, for letting me shine and grow!”
Results Day is a real joy and we love to celebrate with our students. It’s a chance for all them all to congratulate each other and remember their achievements. It’s also a chance for the students to see each other before they go their separate ways to start their dream careers.
Our young people are doing amazing things already. Congratulations to our media and music students who have won awards and funding for their films, congratulations to our art students who have exhibited their work in prestigious exhibitions, and congratulations to our drama students who have worked on tv and film shoots over the summer. Get your credits and keep your portfolio up to date!
Many of our students are taking their UCAS points and are continuing their studies in higher education. University of the Arts, London is always a popular choice as students work with them throughout their time at BCE to discover which courses are right for them at university and understand the quality of work required to get onto their courses. And who wouldn’t want to go to UAL as the world’s best creative arts university?
Congratulations to Junior going to Queen Mary, University of London to do Film Studies and Drama and Elizabeth going to University of Edinburgh to do Jewellery and Silversmithing, both Russell Group universities.
This year we introduced business sessions to all students, who have really seized the opportunity to learn about personal and business finances. We admire the courage it takes to set up your own business and congratulations to Mathew who has his own fashion accessories business and all of our students who are exploring business opportunities.
We’re very lucky to be an apprenticeship provider as well, and we support students into the industry apprenticeships we have. The creative and employability skills students learn suit so many sectors and we have students who have taken their skills they have learned into teaching, construction and hospitality. The creative arts is a priority sector for jobs our learners are filling the skills shortages that exist in London. Well done to everyone!
