Course Overview

A Functional Skills maths qualification provides learners with the foundation they need to transition into the workforce or further study, as well as the skills necessary for everyday life.

Learners will demonstrate an extensive understanding of the fundamental and foundational maths skills for each level, and apply mathematical reasoning to solve simple problems in familiar situations.

You will learn in a classroom filled with other students who have the same interest in studying maths. Your instructor will be friendly and supportive.

Applications for our courses open about one month before they begin. Since all courses start in the first week of the month, applications close one week prior. Courses are popular and spaces are limited, so apply early to avoid disappointment!

Duration

12-16 weeks, 5 hours weekly study time.
