”The Level 3 course I completed while at BCE has led me to studying my bachelor's degree at Greenwich University with ease.

BCE equipped me well, giving me advice on careers and further education. I was given all the skills and advice needed for a smooth transition. I was told by staff what to expect when going to university. Overall BCE has a very similar structure to my current university.

”I am a youth activist, film maker, social entrepreneur and run a company called Aviard Inspires. I studied Events and Music Management at BCE. I really benefited from studying at BCE. What I loved the most is it allowed me to be an individual and allowed us to be creative and to flourish, I feel like the teachers and mentors knew how to spot that greatness in people.

”Since I’ve left BCE a lot has happened- I’ve just finished my BA degree in interior Architecture and Spatial Design and got a graduate design job in an Architectual/ Design firm. I also draw hyper-realistic portraits on the side.

A lot of skills I’ve learnt studying Fashion at BCE really helped me when I was in university. The work experience that was offered to me like London Fashion Week, Etta Bond video shoot, it was the beginning of my creative career.

”I have made a lot of good connections with the staff through the time I spent at BCE, and I keep in contact with them now. I do not know any other place that has as many creative courses and options as BCE does.

While on my apprenticeship I met my tutor called Natalie and I really connected with her as she was a woman of colour and from East London like myself. Natalie is the founder of Small Green Shoots where I then went on to be employed and that was simply because of the connections BCE gave me.
