Step One

Core Marketing

Everything begins here. The Core Marketing programme provides the essential knowledge and practical skills needed across every area of modern marketing before you progress into your chosen specialist pathway.

Across 13 intensive training days you'll explore branding, audience engagement, digital marketing, campaign planning and creative content, while developing the confidence and professional behaviours employers are looking for. Working on employer-inspired projects, you'll begin building a portfolio that showcases your skills and creativity.

Step Two

Choose your specialism

After completing the Core programme, you'll choose one specialist pathway to develop your expertise and prepare for a career in London's creative industries. Each specialist has been developed with employers to reflect real job roles and current industry demand.

Learn how visual content brings brands to life.

Develop your creative design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud while producing professional assets for websites, social media and digital campaigns. You'll explore branding, typography, layout and digital design, creating a portfolio that demonstrates both your creativity and technical ability.

Beatrix founded Mindea, one of Hungary’s leading social media agencies, before moving to London. At Big Creative Education she runs the digital marketing training programme, tutors Multi-Channel Marketer apprentices and teaches practical, jargon-free skills grounded in live campaigns. She also trains corporate teams to use AI in their day-to-day work.

A film and television composer with 25 years in the creative industries, Mikis has also worked across advertising and music. Trevor has worked for more than 15 years as a creative director, videographer and graphic designer. His credits include BBC, Sony Music, Capital FM and Universal Music. Alongside industry work, he teaches film, photography and design, helping learners build the creative and technical skills needed to progress.

The Marketing Pathway is fully funded through the London Talent Pathway, helping Londoners gain the skills, experience and employer connections needed to start a career in the creative industries. You may be eligible if you:

  • Are aged 19 or over
  • Live in a London borough
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Are looking to progress into employment, an apprenticeship or further learning

Eligibility is subject to London Talent Pathway funding criteria.
