What will you learn?

Work on a live project, or a brief set by your tutor. Produce a creative portfolio and learn the following:

1. Produce a Graphic Design project from brief to delivery

2. Use industry standard software to create design layouts using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

3. Learn to deliver digital assets to various client specifications

4. Understanding composition techniques used to create engaging design

5. Learn about both digital and print designs

6. Learn about design principles, typography and colour theory

7. Work on your own individualised project

8. Create your own portfolio to showcase your creative talents

9. Learn a range of graphic design skills to support your creative career

Applications for our courses open about one month before they begin. Since all courses start in the first week of the month, applications close one week prior. Courses are popular and spaces are limited, so apply early to avoid disappointment!

My name is Trevor Johnson and I have 15 years of experience in the creative industry. I started out in the music industry as a producer, based in New York. My main focus now is within video production and content creation. I work freelance as a camera operator, video editor and motion graphics designer within the digital and media space. I’ve had the opportunity to work for companies including the BBC, Capital Radio, Universal Records, and Sony.

The Media courses are great; extremely in depth and gives a great understanding of the overall subject. It also provides you with opportunities within the industry.
