Your Space or Mine Student Artwork on London Billboards

By 15th December 2025Art, Big Creative Academy, Blog

In their first term at Big Creative Education, our Year 1 Art and Design students collaborated with BUIDLHOLLYWOOD as part of their Your Space or Mine initiative.

The brief challenged our emerging artists to create striking works that combine text and image to express a social message: artwork with the potential to appear on billboards around the streets of London.

Their responses are bold, honest and deeply rooted in individual experience, exploring social and emotional themes through visually compelling design. Each piece was presented to a panel of industry professionals, and selected works are showcased on billboards this December.

BCE celebrates the creativity and voice of every student by presenting the full collection of original artworks in our gallery space at Big Creative Academy.

There are ten works in situ with some around the corner from BCE on the Forest Road billboards opposite Blackhorse Road Station. Congratulations to our students Corey, Damien, Daria, Nyx, Eliana, Jay, Kaja, Melita, Milena and Shreya. It’s the first piece in your professional portfolio!

We’re very grateful to BUILDHOLLYWOOD for their continued support and offering the students such a fabulous opportunity. Not many 16-year olds can say they’ve had their artwork on billboards.

Additional thanks to our art team Joe, Kim, Rebecca, Hannah and Jon for their co-ordination work, making this happen for students.
