Step into a world where fashion meets music, all in the 90s!
BCE Level 3 Music Events Management students hosted an unforgettable fashion show – STYLED. You might think that the course is limited to organising gigs and festivals but, remember, there’s music in pretty much every event you can think of. Music is especially important in fashion shows to compliment the themes of collections.
So our students put on a super fun 90s fashion event, a chance to express yourself and connect with others who have a passion for music, fashion and creativity.
Sustainability is central to the event concept, with the message that fashion doesn’t have to be fast to be exciting. Therefore students incorporated an exclusive pop up clothes swap where those with vouchers had the opportunity to swap them for other garments. Young people are making conscious choices in their fashion. We had some stylish outfits and students strutting the runway with their best walks.
The vibes were hot and high, and special thanks to DJ Honey Ferdinand for her set keeping the atmosphere pure 90s inspiration. Well done to our events students for putting on a great night – it’s all part of a fantastic college experience!
