Social Media Content Trainee – Creative Works

As a Creative Works (CW) Trainee, you will be immersed in the creative process, contributing to content creation and brand storytelling across various platforms. Your responsibilities will include organising video footage, crafting engaging narratives, managing social media calendars, and bringing fresh, innovative ideas to campaigns. This role offers hands-on experience in creative content development, social media management, and project coordination within a dynamic, collaborative environment where your passion for creativity and marketing can flourish.

Skills Required

– Content Creation & Storytelling: You know how to organize raw video footage and turn it into a compelling story that resonates with an audience.
– Research & Innovation: You’re skilled at researching ideas and concepts and bringing fresh, innovative approaches to the table.
– Social Media Expertise: You understand how to leverage social media to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
– Technical Know-How: You’re comfortable using video editing software like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro and are excited to learn more.
– Problem Solver: You tackle challenges head-on with creativity and a positive, can-do attitude.

Important other information

– A traineeship is a programme consisting of a work placement, vocational training and work preparation training. You must be willing to commit to all elements of the programme. If you have not achieved your Maths/English GCSEs at grade 4 or above or Level 2 Functional Skills, you will study towards these qualifications during your traineeship.
– There are no salaries attached to traineeships but trainees will be paid travel and lunch expenses. Trainees will need to provide evidence of their travel expenses (e.g provide a receipt) and will need to be given £5 per day for lunch.
– Traineeship duration: 6-12 months

 

Traineeship Eligibility Criteria

– 16-18, 19 (dependent on date of birth) and up to 24 with an EHCP plan (dependent on funding)
– Possess no more than a level 2 qualification (learners who may have completed their first year of college / sixth form and have dropped out are eligible for a traineeship)
– Must not be in education
– Must not be in full-time work
– Must be willing to commit to all elements of the traineeship

To meet the criteria for this apprenticeship you must be:
  • 16-18 (19-year-olds are acceptable if they were 18 on 31st July 2023. We can also accept candidates up to 24 years old if they have an Educational Health Care Plan)
  • Must not possess qualifications above level 3
  • Must not be in education or full-time work
  • Be willing to commit to all elements of the traineeship programme
  • Be willing to commit to a 6-12 month programme
