What will you learn?

Work on a live project, or a brief set by your tutor. Learn how to produce effective Pre production material including:

1. Treatments, Production Schedules, Scripts, Storyboards.

2. Learn how to budget for your production

3. Learn about and how to produce recces and risk assessments for your shoots

4. Learn camera and production techniques including composition and the selection of shot frame.

5. Learn how to use filming tools using cameras and apps.

6. Learn the Post-production process using Premiere pro and other editing programmes

7. Learn about and how to use audio and visual transitions

8. Learn how to link audio to visuals to enhance meaning within the narrative of your storyline

9. Learn a range of production techniques to support your creative career.

My name is Mikis and I have been working in the creative industries for 25 years. My main job is a composer for film and TV but I have worked in the advertising industry, the music industry and have been teaching apprenticeships in digital media production and visual effects for 15 years and enjoy creating hands on projects that get students to explore the creative and digital world.
