Looking for your next favourite artist? Or just an excuse to vibe with great music and meet new people? The Unsigned Listening Party brought exactly that — an electric atmosphere filled with fresh beats, creative energy, and a community built on discovery.
The event brought BCE’s event management students and music students together. From the moment the music started, it was clear this wasn’t just another playlist — it was a live, authentic experience where every track had a face, a voice, and a journey behind it.
There were good vibes and energy in the room – welcoming, relaxed and lots of finger clicks! Guests got a behind-the-scenes understanding of the inspiration behind the music, the challenges of being an independent artist and tips for breaking into the industry.
It’s always fantastic to see our students collaborating and one day they’ll look back at these events as their first steps into industry. Because today’s unsigned artist is tomorrow’s headline act.
