Fluo Technologies – Multichannel Marketer

Fluo is a purpose-driven technology consultancy. We’re a certified B Corp, Living Wage Employer, and members of 1% for the Planet, helping organisations make better technology decisions so they don’t accidentally scale the wrong thing. Alongside Fluo, we build and support impact-led initiatives, including Clothes for Action, Pulse, Wayable, and other emerging projects at the intersection of tech, sustainability, and community.

We’re now looking for a Marketing Apprentice who wants real responsibility across multiple brands, not just one Instagram account.

What you’ll be responsible for:

You’ll support and gradually take ownership of marketing across Fluo and our initiatives.

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Plan, create and publish content for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts
  • Produce short-form video content (Reels/TikTok/Shorts), including basic editing
  • Capture photos and videos (team, events, behind-the-scenes, product, community)
  • Support content planning and scheduling across multiple brands
  • Monitor performance (reach, engagement, clicks) and suggest improvements
  • Engage with our online community and respond to comments/messages

Website & Digital Presence

  • Assist with updates to fluo.tech and related project websites
  • Upload new content, initiatives, announcements and case studies
  • Support basic SEO-friendly copywriting
  • Maintain brand consistency across web and social channels

Campaign & Promotion Support

  • Contribute to seasonal and cultural campaigns (e.g. Pride, Black History Month, Christmas, launches)
  • Support digital campaigns and email promotions
  • Assist with simple performance reporting
  • Help explore new marketing experiments across our initiatives

Branding & Creative

  • Create simple graphics using Canva / Adobe / other tools
  • Support brand consistency across all initiatives
  • Join brainstorming sessions for content and campaign ideas
  • Help evolve our visual storytelling over time

Email & CRM

  • Support email marketing campaigns
  • Help manage audience lists and segmentation
  • Assist with CRM updates and reporting

How success will be measured

In addition to marketing KPIs, performance will be assessed on:

  • Contributions to company-wide environmental reporting (e.g. GHG metrics)
  • Promotion of sustainable and inclusive practices within Fluo
  • Advocacy and knowledge-sharing around environmental/social impact within Fluo
Training to be provided

  • Level 3 Multichannel Marketer
  • In-house mentoring

Personal Qualities

  • Interested in how brands grow across digital channels
  • Curious about technology, sustainability and social impact

Skills Required

  • You don’t need professional experience, but we’re looking for initiative, reliability and curiosity
  • Naturally creative and comfortable with video and visuals
  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects
  • Confident experimenting with new ideas

Qualifications Required

You’ll need a good level of English and a strong foundation in marketing with a passion for social impact. Formal qualifications like GCSEs are helpful but not essential

Things to Consider

The apprenticeship programme and your employment are fully integrated. You will be expected to show strong commitment to both your job role and your training. While the majority of your time will be spent working at Fluo Technologies, a dedicated part of your contracted hours will be set aside for training towards your accreditation.

  • English & maths GCSE or equivalent grade above C/4
