BLOBAR & GRASSROOTS: Social Media Assistant & Content Creator Trainee

The role will involve:
– Capturing content and creating visually compelling posts, stories & reels on Instagram and TikTok
– Planning out the social media calendar with relevant moments within the Hair and Beauty industry
– Creating, scheduling and monitoring content across all platforms, responding to comments and analysing what performs the best
– Producing engaging video content for promotional campaigns in the salon, continually updating the in-salon screen so that clients are stimulated by it and are up to date on all new launches and offers
– Researching influencers & freelancers to collaborate with to grow awareness of both BloBar & Grassroots
– Researching salon competitors across hair & beauty to proactively suggest what is trending in new services, products and styles

Important other information
A traineeship is a programme consisting of vocational training, work preparation training and a work experience placement. You must be willing to commit to all elements of the programme. If you have not achieved your Maths/English GCSEs at grade 4 or above or Level 2 Functional Skills, you will study towards these qualifications during your traineeship.

Traineeship Eligibility Criteria
– 16-18, 19 dependent on date of birth and up to 24 with an EHCP plan (dependent on funding)
– Possess no more than a level 2 qualification (learners who may have completed their first year of college / sixth form and have dropped out are eligible for a traineeship)
– Must not be in education
– Must not be in full-time work
– Must be willing to commit to all elements of the traineeship.

- 16-18 (19-year-olds are acceptable if they were 18 on 31st July 2023. We can also accept candidates up to 24 years old if they have an Educational Health Care Plan)
- Must not possess qualifications above level 3
- Must not be in education or full-time work
- Be willing to commit to all elements of the traineeship programme
- Be willing to commit to a 6-12 month programme
