    About The Role

    Based in London Propeller Communications are seeking a Music artist liaison and promotions person required for talent scouting and radio campaign support.

    This entry-level position is ideal for those wanting to work in the music industry.

    Responsibilities:

    Industry liaison assistant / assistant office manager:

    Working alongside the head of industry liaison, you will be helping to scout for new music to bring in to the company. You will work with the wider team to identify great songs that have the potential to work at radio in various markets across Europe. You will liaise with the plugging team to provide in depth proposals for new campaigns in a timely manner. Social media savvy, you will know where to look for great music across traditional media, as well as new media such as TikTok, YouTube, Discord and Instgram.

    Assistant radio plugger:

    You will be working alongside our plugging team, learning what is needed to present our brilliant music to radio stations across Europe.

    Entry requirements

    Five GCSEs at Grades A*-C or 9 – 4 (including English & Maths), Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths, or a relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship.

    Current University students and those still in education are ineligible.

     Skills Required:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication is a must.
    • Brilliant organisational skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
    • Proficient in word, excel, etc.
    • Desk top publishing and presentation skills such as Adobe and Canvas are a bonus.
    • Previous office based work experience would be preferred.
    Personal Qualities

    • Interests in a wide variety of new and exciting music.

    Things to consider

    You will need to demonstrate excellent levels of commitment to both the qualification and job role. You will work at Propeller Communications 80% of the time, and study with BCE 20% of the time.
