While we work with clients nationwide, we’d love to support someone local who shares our enthusiasm and can bring their own spark to the business.

This opportunity bridges event support, sales & marketing, office admin, and client liaison — perfect for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and seeing projects through from first enquiry to the final high-five at an event. Long term, our goal is to make this position a permanent mainstay within our growing operation.

Role Overview

Client and Booking Management

• Handle Enquiries: Be the friendly first point of contact for clients — responding to questions about our range of games and attractions, custom branding options, availability, and pricing.
• Manage Bookings: Support the booking process by preparing hire agreements, confirming event details, and ensuring everything runs smoothly — from delivery addresses to venue access.
• Custom Branding Coordination: Work with clients to manage artwork deadlines, upsell branding options, and check artwork before it goes to print to ensure top-quality results.
• Coordinate with Clients: Maintain proactive, clear communication throughout — from confirmation to post-event feedback — ensuring every client feels looked after and every event a success.
• Event Support: Occasionally assist the team with on-site setup of games and equipment, ensuring each attraction is presented safely, cleanly, and ready for guests to enjoy. You won’t be designing entire events — but you’ll play a key role in delivering the interactive fun that makes them shine.

• Level 3 Event Assistant

Personal Qualities

• Passion for games: A genuine interest in games, events and or providing entertainment is crucial for understanding the product and connecting with clients.

Skills Required

• Customer service skills: An ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, with a friendly and personable demeanour.
• Attention to detail: A methodical approach is essential for accurate inventory tracking and ensuring all game components are ready for an event.
• Teamwork: The ability to collaborate effectively with both the office and on-site operations teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability: The event industry is dynamic, requiring a proactive attitude and the ability to respond to and manage last-minute changes.
• Basic IT skills: Competence with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn the company’s rental and inventory management software.

Qualifications Required

Five GCSEs at Grades A*-C or 9 – 4 (including English & Maths), Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths, or a relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Things to Consider

The apprenticeship programme and your employment are fully integrated. You will be expected to show strong commitment to both your job role and your training. While the majority of your time will be spent working at JS Fun Event Hire, a dedicated part of your contracted hours will be set aside for training towards your accreditation.
