Groove Pleasure (MemoryBox) – Multichannel Marketer Apprentice (Remote Role)

This role would suit someone who:

  • Is genuinely passionate about music and culture
  • Is curious, creative and self-starting
  • Enjoys ideas, visuals, storytelling and documenting moments
  • Wants real-world experience within music and events
  • Is open-minded and interested in alternative or independent culture

The role may include:

  • Helping tell the story of Memory Box, Groove Pressure, Groove Pleasure and Robin Ball
  • Creating social media and video content
  • Filming and editing DJ/event footage
  • Documenting events and artist appearances
  • Archive and research work connected to electronic music culture
  • Helping shape visual identity and online presence
  • Supporting the storytelling and long-term development of Memory Box culture and audience connection
  • Helping promote radio shows, mixes, music releases and events
  • Supporting mailing lists, social platforms and audience growth
  • Design support for flyers, posters, headers, T-shirts and digital content
  • Helping organise and manage content across platforms including Instagram, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, TikTok and YouTube.
Training to be provided

  • Level 3 Multichannel Marketer
  • In-House mentoring

Skills Required

Useful skills (not essential):

  • Video editing

  • Social media content creation
  • Interest in electronic music, alternative culture or independent creative scenes

Important other information

Must hold an interest in music festivals and clubbing events.

Qualifications Required

Minimum ‘C’ (4)  in Maths/English

Things to Consider

The apprenticeship programme and your employment are fully integrated. You will be expected to show strong commitment to both your job role and your training. While the majority of your time will be spent working at Memory Box, a dedicated part of your contracted hours will be set aside for training towards your accreditation.

Memory Box is an independent electronic music project run by a sole trader, focused on underground culture, events, music discovery, archives and creative work within electronic music.

We are looking for someone interested in music, culture, storytelling, archives, events and creative communication to help shape the next phase of Memory Box.

  • English & maths GCSE or equivalent grade above C/4
