About the role

We are looking for an Apprentice to join our team and work across all areas of the business. This role is varied, hands-on, and fast-paced – an incredible opportunity to gain experience across A&R, artist management, social media, marketing, and more. You will be exposed to many different aspects of the music industry and supported as you develop skills and confidence in each.

This is not a role for someone looking for a way into being a musician themselves. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the business side of music, eager to learn, and ready to work hard.

The Director of the company is also a shareholder in a Digital Marketing agency (in music) and a Radio Promotions company, so there may be occasional tasks connected to these businesses as well.

Responsibilities

A&R

• Assist with scouting new artists online.
• Research ideas to support artist marketing and new business opportunities.
• Liaise with labels and partners on release plans.

Artist Management Support

• Manage artist diaries and book sessions with producers and songwriters.
• Help coordinate artist travel plans.
• Occasionally travel with artists for filming, promo, or live shows.
• Attend meetings with artists and partners, take notes, and follow up on action points.

Social Media & Marketing

• Support artists with their social media and encourage them to stay on track with plans.
• Contribute ideas to help market artists and grow their profiles.

Administration & Communication

• Manage and screen communication (email, phone, WhatsApp).
• Assist with invoicing and other day-to-day admin tasks.
• Assist with scheduling and organising meetings.

Training to be provided

• Level 3 Multichannel Marketer
• In-house Mentoring

Personal Qualities

• A good understanding of the current music landscape.
• Prepared to work hard in a fast-paced environment.

Skills Required

• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong written and numerical skills.
• Confidence using social media and knowledge of current platforms/trends.
• Ability to work well with artists and industry professionals, and build strong relationships.
• Ability to research and work independently.
