About the Role

We are looking for a full-time junior publicist apprentice to come and join our existing team.

This hybrid role is 30hrs a week with designated time set aside to achieve a L3 Multi-channel marketing qualification.

The person will need to be driven, self-motivating, have a strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, a comprehensive understanding of social media and excellent
communication skills.

The candidate will be responsible for leading press campaigns, dealing with journalists on phone and email, recruiting new clients and developing their own roster, administrative work, database management and supporting the existing team in other areas such as liaising with artist representatives and attending meetings on behalf of the company.

Along with building on experience working as a publicist, we are looking for somebody to help handle our current workload of clients, whilst being active in bringing in new business opportunities to expand the network of the company.

Training to be provided

• Level 3 Multichannel Marketer
• In-house mentoring

Personal Qualities

• Understanding of relevant music genres

Skills Required

• Flexibility need – will be required to work some evenings and weekends Desirable:
• Music Journalism or Music PR experience
• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop

Important other information

The position is based in Shoreditch, London, and may require some international travel

Min ‘Cs’ (4) in Maths/English
