Social Media Apprentice

What happens next?

Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative, organized, and social media-savvy individual to assist in artist management and content creation. This role will give you hands-on experience working with artists, managing social media campaigns, and supporting general administration in a fast-paced and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Content Creation. Develop creative and engaging social media content ideas for various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
Film and edit high-quality content that aligns with each artist’s branding and voice.
Experience in shooting and editing content is a must.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends and tools to maximize audience engagement and growth.

2. A&R and Artist Support. Assist with A&R duties, including scouting new talent, managing artist diaries, and helping with release strategies.
Book writing and recording sessions with world-class producers and songwriters.
Coordinate artist schedules and ensure timely communication with artists and their teams.

3. General Admin & Communication. Screen and manage all forms of communication, including email, phone, and WhatsApp.
Attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on action points.
Assist with the organization of meetings and artist travel plans.
Help with day-to-day administrative tasks, including invoicing and scheduling.

4. Travel & Event Support
Assist with organizing artist travel and may be required to travel with artists for filming, promotional events, or live gigs.

In-house mentoring / L3 Multi-channel marketing apprenticeship

Personal Qualities

A deep passion for music and the entertainment industry.

Skills Required

Proven ability to film and edit engaging social media content (this is a must).

Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Creativity and ability to develop engaging content.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Flexibility to travel for projects when required.

Important other information

The apprenticeship programme and employment are inclusive of each other. You will need to demonstrate excellent levels of commitment to both the training and job role. You will work at BKM 80% of the time, and train towards your accreditation for 20% of the time.

Qualifications Required

Five GCSEs at Grades A*-C or 9 – 4 (including English & Maths), Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths, or a relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Things to Consider

If your education was outside of England you must provide Ecctis translations of your grades. International applicants outside of the EU must have correct Visa permissions before applying.
