Bad Star Studios: Digital Content Creator Apprentice

What happens next?

We are looking for a creative design focused individual that is compelled creatively to get hands on from ideation through to delivering both internal and commissioned marketing content / material. With your creative hunger to tell stories, you will be able to fulfil this passion through delivering continuously evolving narratives.

– Filming and editing BTS (behind the scenes) at our studio or related events, including interesting video content and photos of our in-house team working on projects
– Develop concepts, stories and narratives that are aligned with marketing and business objectives
– Assist with retouching from preparation of assets through to setting up project files and workflows
– Design creative voice of BAD STAR, across social media, pitch material and presentation documents
– Developing storyboards, short scripts and treatments in conjunction with creative team for both internal and commissioned projects
– Assist on set with virtual production and photography shoots
– Maintaining a high standard of quality and constantly pushing for improvements, bearing in mind the creative and aesthetic needs of the client and the time constraints of the project
– Assist digital marketing apprentice complete social media campaigns and strategies, through content creation and implementation schedules
– Develop understanding and use of AI tools to create unique photography and video content for clients and internal workflows
– Entrepreneurial – with a sense of drive, ambition, speed of learning and bias to action (we’re a roll your sleeves up start-up)

Personal Qualities

– Neurodiverse is a benefit

– Creatively driven

Skills Required

– Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other creative packages. Specifically After Effects and Photoshop (3D software advantageous)
– Confident with good communication
– Previous content creation experience
– Enjoys to multi task and able to prioritise and manage a varied workload
– Ability to both work under supervision and independently, showing initiative
– Able to prioritise and manage a varied workload
– Nice to have knowledge of mics, & lighting
– Previous experience in a social and/or content related role

Important other information

International England-based applicants must be able to present equivalent translations. Those currently in FE are ineligible to apply.

Qualifications Required

Minimum GCSE’s in Maths/English, or a relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Things to Consider

The apprenticeship programme and employment are inclusive of each other. You will need to demonstrate excellent levels of commitment to both the training and job role. You will work at BAD STAR 80% of the time, and train towards your accreditation for 20% of the time.
