We have taken steps to become COVID secure






Measures taken at BCA Campus:
- Bollard sleeves promoting social distancing on lamp posts throughout Clifton Avenue to guide arriving learners and visitors and also ensure the safety of neighbours
- Social distance floor markings outside street level entrance to site
- Covid secure poster on entrance door confirming BCA has complied with government guidance on managing the risk of covid-19
- All entering building required to sanitise at the provided hand sanitiser station in the reception lobby before proceeding further into the building
- Hand sanitisers dotted around the building near common touch points and circulation routes
- Visitors to school limited and on an appointment basis only
- Bathrooms have a one person at a time policy with clearly denoted signage
- Large gatherings only held in common room where the sitting layout is floor marked to guide social distancing.
- Classrooms accommodating smaller groups of 10 ensuring all students get some face-time with tutors in a safe environment.
- Studios and specialist places allowing a maximum of 2 people per room at a given time.
- Cleaning service in the middle of the day focusing on common touch points and bathrooms.
- Egress managed at the end of each day to ensure students leave the site safely
- Building cleaned daily at the end of each day with focus on disinfection of hard surfaces and common touch points
- Regular comms with enrolled students to brief measures being taken, sharing awareness of increased risk to BAME students, and inviting feedback
- All above based on Covid-19 and reoccupation risk assessments conducted and shared with all staff

- Plastic shield installed at reception
- Dividers in reception to manage flow of entry and exit
- Keep your distance floor Vinyl at reception, throughout the corridor and common areas
- Hand sanitisers dotted around the building near common touch points and circulation routes
- Anyone with Covid-19 symptoms prohibited from entering the building
- Allocated toilets for staff and students – one permitted at a time
- Classrooms accommodating smaller groups of 10 ensuring all students get some face-time with tutors in a safe environment
- Windows in rooms kept open to allow ventilation
- Building cleaned daily at the end of each working day with focus on disinfection of hard surfaces and common touch points
- All above based on Covid-19 and reoccupation risk assessments conducted and shared with all staff
