VFX & Editing Course
Get to grips with the latest technology and industry-standard software for visual effects and editing while developing your skills in the technical areas of visual effects for film, TV and media.
Working to a live brief, you’ll learn how to develop creative concepts, storyboard your ideas and produce visual effects using industry-standard software like Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Throughout this course, you’ll learn all the skills you’ll need to succeed in the industry, including text animation, rotoscoping, masks, track mattes, colour grading, motion blur and more as you work towards producing a showreel of your VFX techniques.
A VFX & Editing qualification opens up a range of pathways for you to break into VFX, which is one of the fastest growing parts of the UK film industry.
Our courses are designed to equip you with essential industry skills, recognised industry qualifications and real-life project experience. This course is designed to give you the skills you need to get closer to your dream career in visual effects.

My name is Owen and I’ve been working in the creative industries as a content creator and Visual Effects artist for short films, documentaries and YouTube videos for over 7 years. I’m currently producing social media videos and podcasts for a number of charities. A tutor on the Apprenticeships and AEB courses, I enjoy teaching and the opportunity to work with students to develop their creative ideas.
